Hello to all my wonderful readers who are still hanging in there after all these months!
It's amazing how quickly time flies by, even when working from home doing the same thing day after day.

Except for one big thing.....I got my first vaccine on Tuesday, woop woop!
Spring is slowly starting to arrive to the mountain top, and of all years I think this is the year we need it the most. Those sunny warm days have a way of lifting ones spirits like nothing else - all I want to do is sit on my swing and tilt my face up to the sun and soak in those rays!
After I put on my Supergoop SPF 50, of course!
We've been teased with spring weather a few times so far this month, but this morning we woke to snow, and the temps are dropping into the teens tonight.
I don't know why I'm surprised, after all it is March on the Mountain Top. Last year it was still snowing in late May.
It is what it is, and I have no control over it. But that doesn't mean I have to like it!
I have two flats of pansies I picked up a couple of weeks ago that I've been protecting from the frost - soon I'll be able to plant them out, I can't wait to see those pops of color all around again!
The critters have clearly been munching away all winter on the bulbs I planted in the fall....I see so many holes in the gardens where I know I planted bulbs. Sigh. I guess that's life in the country!
I read somewhere that they didn't like Alliums so I invested in Alliums in the fall.
It's true - they don't like Alliums. However, they still dug them up, took a bite out of them, and spit them out. I keep putting them back in the holes, and I keep finding them dug up again. So frustrating!
It feels so good to start to get the garden beds cleaned up again. My daily walkabouts have resumed, which I have dearly missed.
