  1. Yours is the second blog where I read that the farmer's market are stopping for the winter. It seems very weird to me as ours go all year round, but maybe it's because we don't get snow.

    1. Must be! Our ground will be frozen solid in a few weeks so the growing season is over for us, unfortunately. There's a holiday market in late November, held indoors, but it features crafts and baked goods and such rather than fresh produce.

  2. Oh, girlfriend, how I can sympathize...I never get everything done that I set out to do! The house always needs cleaned, there are always papers that need graded, there are always blog posts I want to write and comments I want to reply to...the list goes on and on.

Speaking of comments, you have left me a couple of WONDERFUL comments on my blog recently that truly warmed my heart. Thank you so much for your especially kind words yesterday on the loss of our cat, Pookie Bear. My goodness, I miss that darn cat so much! :-)

I must say that I am very impressed by your pretty blog. I cannot believe all that you have achieved in just a few months! Keep up the excellent work--you're a natural!

    1. Thank you so much, Mimi!! What a lovely thing to say! I truly love connecting with all the kindred spirits out in blog-land and 'meeting' new friends like you!
I truly am so sorry for your loss - losing a pet is such a tremendously difficult time and I remember it well. Hugs to you, Mimi!

  3. That's quite the lovely pack mule there :) Better to have taken a long lovely drive on a perfect fall day, which is so fleeting, than clean the house, because dirt is never fleeting :)
