I realized today that I have very few photos of my home without that rascally Monkey in the picture.
This is one of the few, and it must be that she had already gone downstairs to bed.
Because nearly every other photo looks like this.
Or sometimes this.
That's it, Monkey, get in a good stretch. You've been working hard, of course, keeping the chair from drifting off like a balloon.
There she is again, curled up in her favorite chair in front of the fire.
Sometimes she'll swap chairs, especially if she wants to go annoy her mommy.
I'm so glad I invested in good furniture so my pups can be comfortable.
Hahahahah my fat little sausage baby!!!! XOXOXO
ReplyDeleteShe's MY baby, not yours!!!! :)
DeleteThey look like they enjoy all the chairs. LOL. My daughter is always sending me pics of her beagle when he looks right at the camera. Too funny. Hope you are warm there. It's pretty here and a bit warmer...but then the wind ruins it. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteMy pups are beyond spoiled, no doubt! warmer here today also - it was 20 when I went out this morning, and it felt like spring in comparison! xo
DeleteThey are cute, and of course they want the best seat in the house, LOL!! Pretty Christmas tree.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carole! They want ALL the seats in the house!!
DeleteThey're no fools...they know comfy when they see it! ; )
ReplyDeleteCan you say SPOILED????? :)
DeleteI love it!!! Our dogs are allowed everywhere in our house. We even have little step stools scattered about to aid them. My guess is you wouldn't think it is a bit strange that our dogs even have a Christmas stocking that gets hung and filled! :) Have a wonderful holiday and a very healthy and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWell, of course!! My pups have a stocking that Santa fills every year also! :)
DeleteYour house always looks so warm and cozy, Debbie. Wishing you and your loves a very Merry Christmas Mountain Sister!
ReplyDeleteAnd a very Merry Christmas right back at ya, Mountain Sister!!
DeleteMerry Christmas little Monkey and Mama :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Merry Christmas to you and your family, as well, Deb - furry and otherwise!
DeleteLOL! So cute. Ours have claimed the recliners so we sit on the couch more and more!
ReplyDeleteAmazing how they get their own way, isn't it, Karen? I feel guilty throwing them out of 'my' chair when they take it over!
DeleteWell, I believe that these 2 are incredibly smart! They find a cozy chair by the fireplace and nap away. :) My boy has a couple of favorite places ~ #1 is the bed! He can't get on the chairs now so I try to accommodate his wishes.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your beautiful home and have a very blessed and Merry Christmas!
xo
Pat
My old girl can't get on the bed but she manages the chairs, with a lot of heaving and huffing and puffing! Merry Christmas to you, Pat!!
DeleteYour sweet little fur babies are too adorable🐶 I always say the find the best and most comfy spots in the house. Merry Christmas Deb.

Kris
So cute! Love the picture of them in the chair together!
ReplyDeleteMy old girl was having a nice nap in that chair and the Monkey had to jump up and bother her - little punk!
DeleteThey just add to the festive look. Adorable.
ReplyDeleteLisa
Thanks, Lisa - they are pretty cute, which is why they get away with so much!!
DeleteHaving a curled up pet on the chair in a photo makes it look so much more homely to me! Your pups look very comfortable here, and your home looks wonderfully cosy.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Helen xox
Homely until you sit on a chair in my house and hear a squeak ball let out a screech under the throw pillow - or find a bone tucked into the crease of the chair - or get up and find dog hairs all over your nice black pants! Ha ha, oh well, my home is anything but perfect, but I love it!! Merry Christmas to you, Helen! xo
DeleteYou had me at 'That Rascally Monkey'! I love dog stories...especially cute little dogs with a lot of personality. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThat she has, for sure, Donna! She's my little punky monkey!!
DeleteOur furbabies deserve our best!! Merry Christmas! Nancy
ReplyDeleteAnd they get it, don't they, Nancy? :) Merry Christmas to you as well!
