Christmas in the Kitchen and Dining Room

It's been a busy couple of weeks around my house with lots of decorating going on! As with many of yours, I'm sure - boy, there never seem to be enough hours in the day to get everything done!!

But looking back I'm super happy with the way things turned out. I really had no idea how I was going to decorate this house for the holidays since it's my first Christmas here. And other than tweaking a few things here and there I'm quite contented with the end result!

I'll let the pictures do most of the talking here...

Like the rest of my home, it's hardly perfection....but it's perfect for me. A random selection of Christmas items collected over many years....with a few new pieces thrown in here and there.

My home has a lot of red accents already so it transitions easily into holiday mode.

The chandelier even got decked out with red shades for the season and I love the warmer look for the winter. It's all about the little things, you know?

I hope you all had a wonderfully productive weekend as well!

  9. How festive and pretty everything looks. I love your placemats and dish towel. I actually saw your decorative dish towel in a TJ Maxx advertisement and called the two stores in my area, to see if I could find one, but to no avail. I absolutely "love" your blog.

    1. But I CAN explain, Betty!!! :) You know, I picked that sign up for less than a dollar after Christmas last year - I can't even remember where but it was somewhere really bizarre like the hardware store or deli!!

Everything is adorable, but the Santa hats on the booze bottles are what truly made me smile. See :)
