Hi Debbie, it's nice to meet a new blogger. Kris really does find some great bloggers and many of them are wonderful friends of mine. As I have found in a lot of these awesome blogger friends we have much in common even though we grow up in different areas of the world. Like you I grew up in a tight home life and am so greatful for it. Stop over and say hi! Jo
ReplyDeleteHi Jo - it's very nice to meet you! Thanks for coming by for a visit - I can't wait to see who else Kris sends my way!
DeleteI was so excited to see you featured today, Debbie! You do such a wonderful job blogging and it was fun to get to know more about you. Enjoy your day in the spotlight, fellow middle child! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAhhh another middle child - that explains so much, doesn't it? Thank you for your visit to both spots today....and all your sweet comments! Big hugs xoxo
DeleteDebbie,
ReplyDeleteThank you for doing Spotlight today. This was really fun to feature you. Love getting to know you better.
Have a wonderful week end.
Kris
Kris, thank you so much for featuring me! This was so much fun and I "met" so many new blogland friends - I look forward to browsing around their sites as well - isn't blogging just the best? We meet the most amazing and talented people!!
Deletexoxo
Debbie I enjoyed reading your spotlight and look forward to following your blog. Spotlight is fun because you meet new bloggers, I sure did when I was featured and many have become friends,
ReplyDeleteIsn't Kris the sweetest?
xx
Kris has been incredibly supportive of me in my new blogging venture as have many other wonderful bloggers - I feel so fortunate to meet so many wonderful people, new folks stopping by each and every day. I look forward to taking a peek at your blog as well and finding out more about you! Thanks for your visit...xo
DeleteWell, Debbie, I do believe we have a few things in common - our Irish heritage, two girls, and a failed marriage as a life lesson. I look forward to reading more of your posts, and am adding yours to my reading list. Kris featured me almost three years ago, and we've been friends ever since. She's a guardian angel in blogland, and in many other aspects. Glad she found you to introduce you. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteRita C at Panoply
Hi Rita! I can't wait to get to know you and your blog better!! Thanks for popping in for a visit and for taking the time to introduce yourself! Enjoy the rest of your weekend, also!
DeleteSuch a fun feature, Debbie...it was great to learn more about you! Kris is a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteShe sure is, Linda!! Thanks for all your support and your sweet comments!! xo
DeleteHi. I found you from Kris's blogger feature, and now I'm a blogloving follower. :)
ReplyDeleteDebbi
Fantastic! Thanks so much, Debbi!!
DeleteThst was so neat and i loved reading it! Learned new things bout you. Thats neat about the irish dancing! Did your girls learn too?
ReplyDeleteWell.....we tried. They were in step-dancing for about a year or two but they had absolutely zero interest.
DeleteI enjoyed reading your story at Junk Chic Cottage. I'll be back!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you kindly! I look forward to your next visit!!
DeleteThat was a great read and new to me was the Celtic / Musician / Step Dancing part of your life. I recall many years ago learning about step dancing being introduced to it and absolutely enthralled with it due to Riverdance!

ReplyDeleteHa! I snuck that one in on you, huh, Deb? Yup, that was a big part of my life for years. Riverdance was awesome, I saw it at Radio City when it first came out. As well as his second show, Lord of the Dance, which was also a great show!
DeleteJust found you through Kris. You are my kind of gal. I am off blogging for a few days while i catch up-but I am putting you on my sidebar so I don't miss any of your posts. I am your newest follower. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteFantastic, Diana - I look forward to your visits!!
DeleteHi there!
